Nalanda University, established at Rajgir (Bihar) is an international institution of academic excellence. Two Schools of studies, School of Historical Studies and School of Ecology and Environment Studies, set up in a temporary campus, have already started functioning and the University proposes to introduce teaching in the third School of Studies – School of Buddhist studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religions from 2016-17. The admissions process for the academic year 2016-17 has already commenced.
