PRESS RELEASE On the
occasion of the Independence Day of India, a Flag Hoisting Ceremony will
take place at the Indian Embassy premises on Arabian Gulf Street on
Saturday, August 15, 2009, at 0700 hours. The flag hoisting will be
followed by the reading of the message of the President of India by the
Ambassador of India, followed by rendition of patriotic songs by Indian
school children. There will be an Open House Reception after the
programme concludes.
