8th International Jewellery Exhibition

Ambassador of India, H.E. Mr. Ajai Malhotra, accompanied H. E. Mr. Rasheed Al-Sayed Yousuf Al-Tabtabaei, Under Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, to the stalls of some of the Indian companies exhibiting jewellery at the “8th International Jewellery Exhibition” at the Mishref International Fairs Ground, Kuwait. Over 30 Indian gems and jewellery companies are participating in the 8th International Jewelry Exhibition, which is on till February 21.

India dominates the world diamond processing trade with 11 out of 12 diamonds being cut and polished in India. It is also a major international sourcing destination for high quality designer jewellery. The US$ 27 billion Indian gems and jewellery industry is also the fastest growing jewellery market in the world. One of the pictures shows the Bollywood Indian actress and jewellery designer Neelam Kothaari in discussion with H. E. Mr. Rasheed Al-Sayed Yousuf Al-Tabtabaei and H.E. Ambassador Ajai Malhotra at the Exhibition.
