PRESS RELEASE 

            The Embassy of India in Kuwait organized a condolence meeting outside the Embassy premises at 4.30 p.m. on Dec 4th '08.  The meeting was attended by about 600 representatives of Indian community.  Charge d’Affaires, Mr. Dinesh Bhatia, in his speech paid rich tributes to security personnel who were martyred and paid homage to all the innocent civilians who lost their lives during the Mumbai terror attacks.  He paid personal tributes to Mr. Hemant Karkare and Mr. Ashok Kamte who were closely known to him.

 

 

            The Indian Community representatives lit candles in front of the Embassy and paid floral tributes while conveying homage to the departed souls and prayed for the speedy recovery of all the injured ones.  The meeting ended with observation of 2 minute silence.
